Registered Dietitian - Svalbard


We are in search of a Registered Dietitian to join our team in Svalbard. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition advice and support to individuals and groups. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized meal plans and provide ongoing counseling to help them reach their health goals.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized meal plans for clients based on their health goals, dietary needs, and medical conditions
- Provide ongoing nutrition counseling and support to clients, including education on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
- Monitor client progress and adjust meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate this knowledge into your practice

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Dietitian, preferably in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and nutritional sciences
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1800$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard. Please note that accommodation is not provided.
