Junior Electrician


We are hiring a Junior Electrician to join our team in Svalbard. As a Junior Electrician, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This is an entry-level position for individuals without prior experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of new electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance on existing electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues
- Collaborate with senior electricians to learn new skills and techniques
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles and systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina and dexterity to work with tools and equipment
- Willingness to learn from experienced electricians on the job

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1000 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard, a remote archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. Candidates must be comfortable living and working in a harsh climate.
