Entry-Level Instrument Technician (Contract)
Location: Longyearbyen, Svalbard


We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Instrument Technician to join our team in Longyearbyen, Svalbard on a contract basis. This position is perfect for someone who is looking to gain experience in the field of instrumentation and is passionate about developing their skills within a dynamic and challenging environment. As an entry-level technician, you will receive on-the-job training and support from our experienced team members.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and control systems
- Perform routine inspections and calibrations of instruments
- Troubleshoot technical issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Keep accurate records of work performed and any equipment updates or changes
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on site

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles and instrumentation tools
- Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work weekends or overtime as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this contract position.
