Radio Technician


We are currently hiring a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team in Svalbard. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of radio equipment and systems. You will also be in charge of troubleshooting any issues that may arise with the equipment, ensuring that it is functioning properly at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Install new radio equipment and systems according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on existing radio equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with the equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in technology
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of radio equipment and systems
- Familiarity with various types of antennas, transmitters, receivers, and other components
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Biometric passport required for travel to remote locations
- Must be willing to relocate to Svalbard and live in company-provided accommodation

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month.
