Crane Operator

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Svalbard. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes, such as tower cranes, mobile cranes, or overhead cranes
- Inspect and maintain equipment before and after each shift to ensure safe operation
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane
- Communicate with ground crew to ensure proper positioning of materials and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
- Keep detailed records of daily activities, including equipment usage and maintenance

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid crane operator certification/license
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and instructions
- Knowledge of safety procedures for crane operation
- Physical strength and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
