Head Pastry Chef (Svalbard)


We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Svalbard. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department, including creating new menu items, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and training and supervising junior pastry chefs. You must have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries while also maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Excellent time management skills are necessary to meet production schedules and ensure timely delivery of desserts to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a pastry chef in a high-volume kitchen, with strong leadership abilities and the ability to work well under pressure. A competitive salary of $1300 per month is offered, along with the unique opportunity to work in the beautiful Arctic setting of Svalbard.
