Surveyor - Svalbard

We are a construction company looking for a skilled and experienced Surveyor to join our team in Svalbard. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and measurements to determine property boundaries, construction locations, and other relevant information. You will also be involved in analyzing data, creating maps, and providing guidance to engineers and architects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surveyor
- Proficient in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and standards
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various methods including GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Analyze survey data to determine property boundaries, topographic features, and other relevant information
- Create accurate maps using computer software such as AutoCAD or GIS
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to provide guidance on land usage for construction projects
- Prepare reports documenting the results of surveys for clients or government agencies
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to surveying activities
