Typesetter

We are in need of a skilled Typesetter to join our team in the US. This is a part-time position with a starting salary of $1300 per month. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital materials such as books, magazines, and websites. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work within tight deadlines. While prior experience is preferred, we are open to candidates without experience who show potential in this field. This job is suitable for both men and women. Accommodation will not be provided for this role.

As a Typesetter, your responsibilities will include:

- Formatting text using industry-specific software
- Designing layouts for print and digital materials
- Ensuring consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing
- Collaborating with editors, designers, and other team members to create visually appealing materials
- Making necessary adjustments based on feedback from clients or colleagues
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:

- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Knowledge of typography principles and design elements
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Prior experience in typesetting is preferred but not required
