Plasterboard Worker


We are hiring a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in the United States. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard in various residential and commercial buildings. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting plasterboard, applying joint tape and compound, and sanding surfaces to create a smooth finish.

Requirements:
- Prior experience in plastering or construction is preferred but not required
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials
- Willingness to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid work permit or US citizenship/residency preferred

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to project specifications
- Install plasterboard using hand tools, screws, or adhesives
- Apply joint tape and compound over seams between boards
- Smooth out surface with sandpaper or other tools to create an even finish
- Repair damaged or uneven areas by patching, sanding, or replacing plasterboard
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working on scaffolding or ladders
- Collaborate with other workers on construction projects as needed

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month. However, salary may vary based on experience level.
