Fitter Technician


As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment in our manufacturing plant. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets safety standards. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and repairing any mechanical issues that may arise.

To be successful in this role, you must have a high level of technical expertise and experience working with complex mechanical systems. You should be able to read and interpret technical drawings and have strong problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are also essential.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure equipment meets safety standards
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Fitter or in a similar role
- Strong technical skills and ability to read technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and carrying heavy objects
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to mechanical systems
- Good communication skills

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: US (Preference for local candidates)
