Contract Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Accountant to join our team in the US. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and preparing accurate and timely financial reports. This is a contract position with a salary of $1700 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and accounts
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure proper compliance with regulations
- Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proven experience as an accountant or similar role
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Excellent analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
