Job Title: Librarian



Our library in the bustling city of Us is seeking a dedicated and experienced Librarian to join our team. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in managing our extensive collection of books, media, and other resources while providing exceptional customer service to our patrons. The successful candidate must have prior experience working in a library setting and hold a valid biometric passport.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain the organization and accessibility of library materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Assist patrons with locating books and other resources, as well as providing information on library services
- Handle circulation tasks including checking out/returning materials, issuing library cards, and collecting fines
- Process new materials into the library's system and ensure accurate record keeping
- Plan and conduct library programs such as book clubs, storytime sessions, or workshops
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement policies and procedures for effective library operations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology to provide innovative services to patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a library setting
- Proficient in using library management systems (e.g. Dewey Decimal System)
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of current trends in literature, media, or technology is an asset

Salary:
