Merchandising Coordinator


Position: Merchandising Coordinator
Location: US (with accommodation provided)

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Merchandising Coordinator to join our team in the US. As a Merchandising Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our company's merchandising efforts. This is an urgent position and we require someone who can start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the merchandising team to create, implement, and monitor merchandising strategies
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for new products or improvements on existing ones
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate prices, quantities, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with various departments such as design, marketing, and sales to ensure timely execution of merchandising plans
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products based on sales performance
- Analyze sales data to track product performance and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments
- Create product presentations for internal meetings and external clients

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a merchandising role, preferably in the retail industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors/suppliers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software programs
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
