Information Security Analyst



As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and protection of sensitive information and systems within our company. Your role will be vital in identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents. This position is based in Oslo, Norway.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats
- Monitor networks and systems for any suspicious activity or breaches
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls
- Perform vulnerability testing and penetration testing
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security software and hardware
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Train employees on information security best practices
- Stay updated on emerging security threats and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security roles
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption methods, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR or HIPAA
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one (if not already a Norwegian citizen)

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
