Information Security Analyst (Contract, Oslo)


We are hiring an Information Security Analyst to join our team in Oslo on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for technology and security, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing our company's systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats. You will also work closely with other teams to implement security measures and protocols to protect our company's data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of our systems
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Implement and maintain security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Previous experience in information security is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and databases
- Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
