Industrial Alpinist


We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Oslo. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing rope access techniques to work at heights on industrial structures and buildings. You will also be responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installations on various structures in difficult-to-reach locations.

Responsibilities:
- Perform rope access techniques to safely access and work at heights on industrial structures
- Conduct visual inspections of structures for any signs of damage or wear
- Perform maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on various structures such as bridges, towers, wind turbines, and buildings
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Use a variety of tools and equipment while working at heights
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Keep accurate records of work done and report any issues or concerns

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial alpinism or similar field
- Knowledge of rope access techniques and equipment
- Valid IRATA certification (Level 1 or higher)
- Ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to travel for projects if needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month without accommodation. Additional benefits may be provided based on experience and qualifications.

Location:
This position is based in Oslo but may require travel within Norway or abroad depending on project requirements.
