Accountant

We are a fast-growing accounting firm based in Oslo and we are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities include managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and conducting audits. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month, and accommodation will be provided. As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Conducting audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions
- Assisting with budget planning and forecasting
- Identifying areas for cost reduction or improvement in financial processes
- Communicating with clients regarding their financial information as needed

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Fluent English language skills (Norwegian language skills preferred but not required)
