Restaurant Manager
We are a busy restaurant located in Oslo, seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of the food and beverage industry will be essential in maintaining our high standards and driving business success.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including staffing, inventory management, scheduling, and budgeting
- Train and supervise staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized environment
- Create and implement strategies to increase sales and improve overall profitability
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and ensure consistency in food quality
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-volume establishment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, inventory management, and cost control techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field preferred
