Back-End Developer (Svalbard, Norway)


We are hiring a highly skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure back-end solutions for our web applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop efficient, maintainable, and scalable code for our web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Build and maintain databases to support web applications
- Ensure the responsiveness of applications by optimizing server-side performance
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our back-end development processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of web security principles and best practices
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
