Elevator Installer

Our company in Svalbard is seeking a skilled Elevator Installer to join our team. As an Elevator Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining elevators and escalators in various buildings and structures. This is a physically demanding job that requires lifting heavy equipment and working at heights.

Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain elevators and escalators according to blueprints and specifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments
- Test equipment for proper functioning
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on progress or issues
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Elevator Installer or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary

Education/Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completed apprenticeship program or certification in elevator installation preferred

Salary: $1600 per month
