Equipment Operator for Contract Work in Svalbard


We are a multinational company looking for a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team in Svalbard on a contract basis. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders. Your main duties will include operating equipment safely and efficiently according to project requirements, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and reporting any equipment malfunctions or damages.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as an Equipment Operator with a proven track record of operating various types of heavy equipment. You must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass pre-employment drug testing. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures is also required.

This position is suitable for men who are physically fit and able to work in harsh weather conditions. You must have good communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment. This is a contract position without accommodation provided, so the successful candidate must be able to arrange their own housing.
