IT Support Specialist
We are hiring a detail-oriented and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team in the United States. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients with computer systems, hardware, and software issues. Your main duties will include troubleshooting system errors, setting up new equipment, and maintaining network and system security.
To excel in this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of computer systems and networks. You should also be able to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients with hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot system errors and perform repairs as needed.
- Install new computer equipment and maintain existing equipment.
- Set up user accounts and permissions on the system.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Ensure the security of network systems by implementing appropriate measures.
- Document all technical procedures for future reference.
- Train end-users on basic computer operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and operating systems (Windows, macOS).
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical individuals.
- Knowledge of network security practices is a plus.
Salary: $1200 per month
Location: United States (Remote work may be available)
