Moderator for Online Gaming Community in Os, Norway


We are in need of a dynamic and experienced Moderator to join our growing online gaming community in Os, Norway. As a moderator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our community by enforcing rules and regulations, resolving conflicts, and creating a welcoming environment for all members.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate online discussions and interactions within the community.
- Respond to user inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Enforce community guidelines and policies to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all members.
- Collaborate with other moderators to develop strategies for engaging members and promoting positive interactions.
- Identify potential issues or conflicts within the community and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Assist with organizing events, contests, or other activities to promote member engagement.
- Keep up-to-date with trends and developments within the gaming industry to better understand the needs of our community.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a moderator or similar role in an online community or gaming environment.
- Strong understanding of online communities, social media platforms, and gaming culture.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Ability to think critically and make fair decisions when dealing with conflicts or rule violations.
- Familiarity with various moderation tools such as banning systems, chat filters, etc.
- Passion for gaming with knowledge of different game genres is preferred but not required.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month along with accommodation in Os. This is a full-time position that may require occasional work on weekends or evenings depending on community needs.
