IOS Developer


We are a dynamic tech startup based in Oslo, Norway looking for a talented and creative IOS Developer to join our growing team. As an IOS Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's mobile applications. You will collaborate with our cross-functional team to design and implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve the user experience.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality IOS applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and fix bugs in a timely manner
- Continuously explore new technologies to improve application performance
- Work with external data sources and APIs
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency
- Follow best practices for software development processes and methodologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficient in Swift and Objective-C programming languages
- Extensive experience with IOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect IOS applications to back-end services
- Understanding of agile software development principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Experience developing mobile applications for iOS using Xcode IDE
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles for mobile applications
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies such as Firebase or AWS

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this contract position.

Location:
This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the world. However, preference will be given to candidates located in or willing to relocate to Oslo, Norway.
