Experienced Turner for High-Precision Machining Company in Os, Norway


We are a high-precision machining company seeking an experienced Turner to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operating lathes and other machinery to produce precision metal parts. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathes, mills, and other machinery to produce precision metal parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the correct tools and materials needed for each job
- Use various cutting tools, such as drills, reamers, and boring bars, to shape and finish parts to exact measurements
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality control
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety procedures and protocols

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Turner in a high-precision machining environment
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications
- Familiarity with various cutting tools and their uses in shaping metal parts
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
