Turner - Industrial Machinery Repair Technician
Location: Os, Norway (willing to consider candidates of all nationalities)
Salary: $1600 per month + accommodation and visa sponsorship


We are seeking an experienced Turner with a strong background in industrial machinery repair. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of machining techniques, as well as a passion for problem-solving and finding innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on various industrial machinery and equipment
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and performing necessary repairs
- Operating manual and computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision parts
- Reading technical drawings and specifications to determine proper machining methods
- Utilizing various hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete tasks
- Ensuring all work is carried out according to safety standards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred
- At least 2 years of experience as a Turner or similar role in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Proficiency in using manual and computer-controlled machine tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship
- Experience working with different types of metal, including steel, aluminum, and cast iron
- Good physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
