As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between English and Arabic speakers in various settings. This may include business meetings, conferences, legal proceedings, or other situations where language barriers exist. Your role will be crucial in ensuring accurate and efficient communication between parties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services from English to Arabic and vice versa.
- Listen carefully and accurately interpret spoken messages in real-time.
- Convey cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions accurately.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
- Conduct research and prepare for upcoming assignments as needed.
- Provide sight translation of written documents when necessary.
- Adhere to professional standards and ethical principles of interpreting.
- Effectively manage time and handle a high volume of information during assignments.

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Arabic languages.
- Excellent listening, concentration, and memory skills.
- Familiarity with cultural differences between English-speaking countries and Arabic-speaking countries.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain composure during challenging situations.
- Strong understanding of professional interpreting ethics and standards.
- Ability to adapt to different speaking styles, accents, and dialects.
- Proficient in using technology for interpretation services (e.g. headsets, microphones).

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

This job is located in Os, Norway.
