Preservation Architect
A reputable preservation architecture firm in the historic city of Os is seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will play a crucial role in preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring they are protected for future generations to enjoy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of historic structures, materials, and techniques
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for the restoration and maintenance of historic buildings
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure projects meet preservation standards and regulations
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for restoration projects
- Oversee the construction process to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to preservation guidelines
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during the restoration process
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in preservation technology, materials, and techniques
- Provide expertise on sustainability practices in historic preservation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a specialization in Historic Preservation
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Preservation Architect on restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of building materials, techniques, codes, and regulations related to historic preservation
- Excellent research skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Salary: $1600 per month
Location: Os (accommodation provided)
