Junior Commercial Architect


We are in search of a creative and driven Junior Commercial Architect to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Junior Commercial Architect, you will work closely with senior architects and clients to design and develop commercial spaces that meet their needs and expectations. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$. We welcome candidates without prior experience, as long as you have a strong understanding of architectural principles and the willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior architects to create functional and aesthetically pleasing commercial spaces
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for project development
- Produce detailed drawings, 3D models, and presentations to effectively communicate design ideas
- Research building codes and regulations to ensure compliance in designs
- Work with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for the project
- Assist in project management tasks such as budget tracking, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors

Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and design concepts
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other relevant software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience is not required but would be considered an asset

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations in Norway
- Fluency in Norwegian language
- Previous experience working on commercial projects
