Excavator Operator in Os, Norway


We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Os, Norway. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and machinery to excavate and move earth, rock, and other materials. This is a contract position with a salary of $1000 per week. We are looking for a reliable and skilled individual who is physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks as required
- Load and unload trucks with excavated or other materials
- Operate attachments such as hammers, buckets, and augers as needed
- Inspect machinery before and after use to ensure proper functioning
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment
- Follow safety protocols at all times
- Communicate with site supervisors and team members effectively

Requirements:
- Valid excavator operator certification or license
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators in construction or similar environments
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Strong understanding of excavation techniques and principles
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures when operating heavy machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project plans is preferred but not required
