Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are a busy restaurant located in Os, seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the restaurant industry and possess strong leadership skills. As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure excellent customer service. This is a temporary position with the potential for long-term employment for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening/closing procedures and managing staff schedules
- Train and coach new employees on company policies, menu items, and customer service standards
- Ensure all food and beverages are prepared and served according to company standards
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that may arise
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for increasing sales and improving overall customer experience
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment at all times

Requirements:
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality management role preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport preferred but not required

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable depending on experience)
Location: Os, Nigeria (local candidates preferred)
