Instrument Technician



As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments used in a manufacturing or production facility. You will work with a team of technicians and engineers to ensure that all instruments are functioning properly and efficiently in order to meet production goals. Your role will require you to have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, as well as troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve any issues with instruments. This position is based in Os, Norway with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on all instruments according to schedule
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments
- Repair or replace faulty parts as needed
- Calibrate instruments for accuracy
- Document all work performed in maintenance logs
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operation of all instruments
- Identify areas for improvement in instrument performance and suggest solutions
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on instruments

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an instrument technician in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Working Conditions:
This position may require you to work in different areas of the facility, including confined spaces. You may also be required to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding. The job may also involve standing for extended periods of time. As an essential member of the facility's maintenance team, you may be required to work on-call shifts or overtime when necessary.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month, based on experience and qualifications.
