Radio Technician


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team in Os, Norway. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radio technology and equipment, as well as excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. This is a contract job with a starting salary of $1700, along with free visa and ticket provided.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair radio equipment, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and related components
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform repairs as needed
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal functioning of all radio systems
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on radio equipment
- Stay up-to-date on new technologies and advancements in the field of radio technology
- Collaborate with other technicians and teams to troubleshoot complex issues

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in radio technology preferred
- Previous experience as a radio technician or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of radio equipment and technology
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing updates on work progress

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with specific brands or models of radios (list them if applicable)
- Knowledge of local regulations regarding radio equipment installation and maintenance
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Norwegian) is a plus
