Crane Operator


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift and move heavy objects on construction sites, ports, warehouses, and other locations. You will also be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the crane equipment, ensuring it is in safe working condition.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience operating cranes and possess a valid biometric passport. You must also have strong technical skills and be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams. Experience with different types of cranes such as tower cranes, mobile cranes, or overhead cranes is preferred.

This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time hours based on project needs. We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month with accommodation provided. This position is open to all genders, but due to the physical demands of the job, it may not be suitable for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes according to project needs
- Inspect crane equipment before use to ensure safety
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating the crane
- Communicate with team members effectively during lifts
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities including lift logs and maintenance reports
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during operation
- Ensure that all equipment is properly stored and secured after use

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a crane operator
- Valid biometric passport
- Strong technical skills and ability to read blueprints/diagrams
- Familiarity with different types of cranes (tower/mobile/overhead)
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)
- Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
