Land Surveyor
We are searching for a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to determine the precise location and measurements of land and other features on the earth's surface. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting topographic, boundary, construction, and other types of surveys using various tools such as GPS, total stations, and aerial photography
- Using surveying software to analyze data and create maps and reports
- Preparing detailed survey plans and legal descriptions for land projects
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals on land development projects
- Ensuring the accuracy of survey data through careful measurements and calculations
- Keeping accurate records of surveys and maintaining equipment
- Adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficiency in using surveying tools such as GPS, total stations, and laser levels
- Excellent mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
- Knowledge of surveying software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred
- Valid driver's license is required
