Office Manager (Contract) - Os, Norway
As an experienced Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office in Os, Norway. This is a contract position with the potential for extension, and we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can take charge and ensure the smooth running of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize all administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and managing correspondence.
- Oversee office budget and expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services and supplies.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor office supplies inventory levels and order new supplies as needed.
- Plan and organize company events, meetings, and conferences.
- Train new employees on office procedures and provide ongoing support to all staff members.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Office Manager or similar role is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian proficiency is a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have a valid work permit for Norway.
