IT Manager



We are hiring an experienced IT Manager to oversee the technology operations of our company in Bergen, Norway. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology and management, with the ability to lead and develop our IT team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies to support the company's goals
- Manage all aspects of the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department
- Ensure that all systems are functioning properly and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers
- Create and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and recommend innovative solutions to improve business processes
- Train employees on new systems or software as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as an IT Manager or in a managerial position within an IT department
- Strong knowledge of network administration, data management, and cybersecurity best practices
- Proficient in project management and budget management
- Ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Fluent in English (Norwegian or other languages is a plus)
