Job Title: Network and Systems Administrator


Our fast-growing company is seeking a skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Bergen, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our network infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, as well as experience with systems management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all aspects of our network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure the security of our network by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures
- Manage user accounts and permissions for various systems
- Implement system updates and upgrades as needed
- Conduct regular backups of critical data to ensure data integrity
- Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues
- Collaborate with other teams to identify areas for improvement in the network and systems infrastructure

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or a related role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment is preferred
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)

We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month along with benefits such as health insurance and paid time off. This position is full-time and may require occasional on-call availability.
