Network and Systems Administrator
Location: Bergen, Norway


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Bergen. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our company's network infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. This includes maintaining network security, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing upgrades and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure network security through regular updates and patch management
- Configure firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control for all systems
- Implement backup and disaster recovery plans for critical systems
- Perform regular maintenance on servers and other hardware components

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V) is preferred
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems is a plus
