DevOps Developer



We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Developer to join our team in Bergen. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our software development infrastructure, automating processes, and improving the overall efficiency of our development team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain our software development infrastructure
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Ensure the security, availability, and performance of our development environment
- Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure and deployment processes
- Monitor system health and performance to identify potential issues proactively

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Salary: $1200 per month (without accommodation)

Location: Bergen, Norway (local candidates preferred)
