Android Developer - Part Time (Bergen, Norway)

We are a fast-growing tech startup based in Bergen, Norway and we are currently seeking a talented Android Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Android applications, ensuring their functionality, performance, and user experience.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven working experience in Android app development
- Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month based on experience and qualifications.

Location:
This is a part-time position located in Bergen. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Norway.
