Android Developer - Contract (Bergen, Norway)


We are currently seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Bergen, Norway on a contract basis. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality, user-friendly mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Android Developer
- Proficient in Java and Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Strong understanding of mobile application development best practices
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kotlin programming language
- Published at least one original Android app on Google Play Store
- Knowledge of UI design principles and patterns for mobile devices
- Familiarity with Git version control system
