Entry-Level Information Security Analyst in Bergen, Norway


We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Bergen, Norway. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1300$. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's data and systems.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Monitor network traffic and investigate any suspicious activity.
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner and take appropriate actions.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and recommend measures to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Conduct employee training on information security best practices.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of information security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in information security or related field is a plus but not required.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
