Typesetter

We are in need of a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Bergen. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images for various print and digital materials such as books, magazines, and websites. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in typesetting and possess excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Set and arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Proofread text for spelling and grammar errors
- Ensure proper formatting, alignment, and legibility of content
- Collaborate with designers, editors, and other team members to ensure quality output
- Make necessary adjustments based on client feedback or changes in design requirements

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a typesetter or similar role required
- Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
- Good understanding of typography, layout, and design principles
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members

This is a part-time position with a salary of $1600 per month. Accommodation can be provided for the right candidate.
