Industrial Alpinist

As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at elevated heights and difficult-to-reach locations. You will use specialized equipment and techniques to access and complete work in industrial settings such as construction sites, oil rigs, and wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations at high altitudes on industrial structures
- Inspect and assess the safety of work sites before beginning any tasks
- Use ropes, harnesses, and other climbing gear to access work areas
- Follow strict safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Operate power tools and other equipment while suspended at heights
- Communicate with team members on the ground via radio or hand signals
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each job

Requirements:
- Previous experience in industrial alpinism or similar field preferred
- Experience working at elevated heights is required
- Strong physical condition with the ability to safely lift heavy equipment
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Bergen, Norway. Applicants must be willing to relocate if not already living in the area.
