Restaurant Manager - Bergen, Norway
We are hiring a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team in Bergen, Norway. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in restaurant management and a strong understanding of the food industry. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, maintaining quality and consistency, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant including staff, finances, operations, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Hire, train, schedule and supervise staff to ensure excellent service standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any issues promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality in food preparation
- Oversee marketing efforts to promote the restaurant's brand image
- Prepare monthly reports on the restaurant's performance for upper management
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in restaurant management
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of food industry trends, best practices, and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Fluency in English (Norwegian proficiency is a plus)
