Sous Chef
A reputable restaurant in Bergen is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes, as well as the ability to lead and inspire a team of chefs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and creation of new dishes
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Maintain proper sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A creative mindset with a passion for culinary excellence
Salary:
