Instrument Technician



An experienced Instrument Technician is needed to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and control systems used in industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and calibrate instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level indicators.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of instruments.
- Repair or replace faulty components to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with PLC programming is a plus.
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical diploma or degree preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. ISA Certified Control Systems Technician) is a plus.
