Land Surveyor
Location: Bergen, Norway
We are a leading engineering firm seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Bergen. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to determine precise measurements of land boundaries and features. You will also be responsible for providing accurate data for construction projects and mapping purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys to collect data on land boundaries and features
- Use surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and levels to measure and record data
- Analyze survey data to create maps, drawings, and reports
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate survey results
- Keep detailed records of all survey data for future reference
- Identify potential issues or discrepancies in survey data and work to resolve them
- Adhere to safety standards and procedures while conducting surveys
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
- Strong understanding of land surveying techniques, equipment, and procedures
- Proficient in using surveying software and tools such as AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information
