Senior Computer Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Computer Systems Analyst to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Senior Computer Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex computer systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions that meet their requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze current computer systems and processes and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their needs
- Design, develop, and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements
- Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for optimization
- Train end-users on new systems or processes as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve systems and processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Computer Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL or Oracle
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferences:
- Experience working in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Familiarity with Agile methodology

Salary: $1500 per month (with accommodation provided)
Location: Alta, Norway
